The Urban Chicken Project
The Urban Chicken Project was my graduation project in Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in 2014. This project initiated a big debate on questions about animal farming, mass production, EU veterinary laws & regulations, sustainability. It was challenging people’s consciousness of animal well being and their relationship toward food & food production.
The materials are hygienic, weather resistant, sustainable and local: Eternit, spruce wood and aluminum (no rust). The urban chicken coop got approved by the governmental veterinary.
